F. Reed Brown was the original Hamlet in the U.S. premiere production of
Heiner Muller's Hamletmachine with the Freiese Theatre of Munich. Brown
has over 150 productions currently to his credit.

College Studio Theatre.
He has worked with many companies including
LaMama ETC, Manhattan Ensemble and the
St. Louis Black Rep. Brown spent two
summers with the Illinois Shakespeare
Festival. He holds a master of fine arts degree
in directing from Illinois State University, and a
bachelor's degree from the University of South
Florida. He studied for two years with Stella
Adler at her conservatory in New York. He has
taught theatre at University of Wisconsin Eau
Claire, Johnson State College, Illinois College
and Prison Performing Arts. Currently he is
Professor of Theatre at Cerritos College.
